Our family of three stayed for two nights, primarily to visit relatives nearby. The location of the hotel is fantastic, only a 10-minute stroll to the ferry and close to stunning walking paths along the esplanade. We enjoyed the Mister Walker restaurant, which serves great coffee and delicious meals. The convenience of having a washing machine and dryer in our unit was a significant plus, and the towels provided were plush and well-sized.

Appreciated my such wonderful stay on the 4th night of our stay. The food was great and the location was magnificent. There was a good restaurant, shops and amazing shops next door. The place was close to a ferry port.

The weather was quite warm, had pleasant stay for family vacation. Appreciated the way our well-organised apartment with the extra single bed was. The rate was $ 244.

I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of my unit. The sheets were stained, the carpet was filthy, and there was random bait left in the freezer. It made the whole experience feel neglected and unwelcoming. Definitely not worth it.

I am sorry but we used the apartments for a very short period. We arrived late, left almost immediately to attend a concert, got back after midnight and left before 0800 hours next day. Had a very comfortable nights sleep and all ammenies were there for our use but they were not required. For two couples the price was great. Noise was a bit excessive but not unbearable but we had a front room and I guess that can be expected as the freeway was not far away. Would not stop me from staying there again.Position was excellent. Easy acces to and from the freeway into Perth and not unreasonable access from down south.
I did notice that the apartments were not airconditioned in both bedrooms. We did not require air condition this time but I feel summer may be different. The rate was excellent for a couple but I did take notice of single rate and I felt this was too high as I stayed at the Mercure (Perth) for a lot less). Sorry but just my observation and I did not see a single room.

we recently stayed at the lodestar for two nights, and the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the ferry and near some lovely spots like kings park. we also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made our stay easier, and having a good washing machine and dryer was a nice plus. the towels provided were large and in good condition, contributing to a somewhat comfortable experience.
Was all great! 😕 dirty areas and dangerous balcony issues.

The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the ferry and beautiful esplanades that lead to Kings Park. Plus, the nearby Mister Walker restaurant is a must-visit for amazing coffee!
I did find some areas needing improvement. The shower could use a thorough clean, and the mattress had some questionable stains that shouldn’t be there. A bit more attention to cleaning and maintenance would go a long way. it’s a decent place, but just needs some TLC!

The place had a fantastic central location with easy highway access and friendly staff who really knew how to take care of guests. I loved chilling out in the lovely garden area after a long day of exploring; it felt super relaxing. Just a heads up, the air conditioning was a bit dated and took a while to sort out, but it didn't ruin my overall experience! 😊.

It's location is ideal - close to Perth and Fremantle , with easy access to public transport.
They claim good river views - unless you occupy any of the apartments at the front, you don't see the river.

Great for a family
The rooms were not cleaned very well as we found old food under the couch.
